Harkness

For over a century, the Harkness name has been highly regarded in the rose world, from being awarded the coveted Championship trophy of the Royal National Rose Society a staggering 41 times, to 1995 where Harkness were awarded their 15th consecutive Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show and in 1996, the recently established Hampton Court Flower Show awarded Harkness with another Gold Medal for their roses.

We have one of the largest commercially available collections in the world featuring over 1100 varieties of Classic Roses, embracing shrub, bush, climbing, rambling and ground cover roses.  We are specialists in old fashioned roses, with many being rare and of historical interest. 


 

Fryer's Rose Nursery & Garden Centre

In 1999 Fryer's were honoured to be one of the first recipients of The Queen Mother's International Rose Award, a prestigious new accolade in the rose world. The award established by The Royal National Rose Society recognises outstanding achievements in the raising of new cultivars.

We have just over 500 roses available for the 2002/03 season. Each Rose Bush is certified to be unique and an original cultivar. The rose will be given the name of your choice and delivered anywhere in the world containerised or bare rooted to comply with local regulations.
